Why does my yard stay wet?
Common causes are clay soil, poor slope, downspouts that empty near the house, a high water table or a spring. We walk the yard after or during a rain if possible and tell you what we see.
Will drainage work damage my lawn?
Digging disturbs the ground, but we restore it with sod or seed, and we use small machines and careful routing to limit the impact.
How do I know if I need a French drain or just regrading?
If the water simply needs a path, regrading may be enough. If the ground stays saturated, a French drain helps. We recommend what fits.
