About the Service

Yard Regrading & Leveling, Done Right

Yards settle, builders cut corners and years of rain move soil around. The result is low spots, bird baths, washouts and water that slopes toward the foundation. We reshape the yard with skid steers and small tractors that fit where big machines cannot.

Regrading often pairs with a downspout line, a French drain or a swale, and we tell you honestly when grading alone will do and when drains should come with it. We finish with topsoil, seed or sod so the yard looks as good as it drains.

Music City Excavation brings yard regrading & leveling to homes, farms and businesses in Nashville and across 16 Middle Tennessee cities.

Questions About Yard Regrading & Leveling

Still have a question?

Call 615-357-7797

Will regrading kill my grass?

We work to protect it. We strip and save sod where possible, regrade underneath and re-lay or reseed so the yard recovers quickly. Timing and weather matter, and we explain what to expect.

Do I need a drain or just regrading?

If the water just needs a slope, regrading alone may do it. If the ground stays wet or water has nowhere to go, a drain helps. We tell you honestly which is needed.

Can you work around trees and fences?

Yes. We use small machines, hand work near roots and careful staging to protect trees, fences and landscaping.
